Chimp

Argh. So here’s the deal. I’ve currently got a fair amount of Uni work to be getting on with, essays and presentations and exams, the works. I’m still drawing, just not so much, and it’s almost all going towards a project I’m working on with Thom. So, uh, don’t expect /chimp/ to be updated until the later part of May, or June. This is pretty annoying as I was kinda getting into an update stride, but yeah, it’s not really something I can keep up with at the moment. I’ll keep up Tiger-Plane, and post there when /chimp/ gets going 4real again.

Don’t expect many strips until I can get settled back in Aberdeen and go shopping for fart supplies (may stick some pencils up or something if this takes a while).

You may notice that there is no colour, this is for a number of reasons. Firstly, all my experiments with it (almost all unpublished, lol) were a bit crap. Secondly, economy: whilst I’m in Bath I have access to all the materials I could ask for, in Aberdeen I don’t, and I can’t afford to buy loads of pastels or paint or whatever while I’m up there. What I/can/ afford is India ink, so I’m switchingto inking with this instead of pens. It’s easier to vary lines with a brush, and hopefully this means it’ll be easier for me to make things look better. On the other hand I haven’t touched a brush in years, so bear with me for a few weeks.

I added an “about” page, which should appear somewhere. Expect sporadic updates whilst I’m on holidays. Strip returns Friday.
